Pirate Picnic - Shared Treasure Hunt kickoff

If you were once a kid or still act like one, come aboard!
Come lift a cup of bilge water punch, bellow a sea shanty, and carouse with abandon as we celebrate the inaugural kickoff of Shared Treasure Hunt, a kids-helping-kids philanthropy program.

Saturday, July 9
10am-12noon

Marine Park (Mother's Beach)
5839 Appian Way, Long Beach, CA 90803

It's a free BYO victuals and seat affair at the park beside picturesque Mother's Beach in Long Beach. We'll supply a celebratory cake, games & activities, and the odd pirate insult. A darling librarian will be on hand to read a piratical story or two; but be warned, word has it a local group of Golden Age privateers intends to raid the proceedings!

You needn't have any kidlets in tow ~ an adventurous swashbuckly spirit will suffice. And of course, if you'd like more substantial fare than cake & punch, be sure to pack some.

To sign up for the picnic, simply fill in this form: https://forms.gle/1muscALaQv2vsnhY9. We prefer attendees be RSVP at least a week prior to party day to keep things semi safe and sane ... and to ensure we have enough cake and punch for those who've signed up!

Suggested dress is as piratical as you can muster!

Reasonably priced metered parking in on-site lot. Some free street parking. Clean restrooms steps from our spot on the grass

With thanks as deep as the sea,

Joy
