Getting the vote for women was no easy task. Evidently neither is hosting a tea to celebrate the hundred-year anniversary of that milestone. Due to the current regulations for dine-in food service, coupled with the fact the event was sold out, seating can not be reconfigured in a way that meets health department protocols. As you know, it is common practice to seat individuals and pairs with other folks to fill the tables. We can't do that at present. With all this in mind, the Four Seasons Tea Room and Tea Travellers have come up with an alternative way to celebrate.
Friday-Sunday, July 17-19, Suffrage Sets will be available for pickup at the tearoom. To make your experience more pleasurable, Tea Travellers and the Four Seasons have invested in 3 keepsakes (value $20) that will be included with your afternoon tea order. Should there be interest, Tea Travellers hostess Joy would be delighted to hold an online tea party that weekend as well.
